Since most sketchers are painters too, I thought I would let you know about this great upcoming event run by the Pumpkin Cottage Revival Artists. The goal is simply to get people out to enjoy being creative, and learn a bit about New Zealand's local art history too. Bring whatever medium and supplies you want to work with, even if it isn't paint. I hope to be there (children permitting) and will probably work in pen & ink or watercolour.
